About the Lecturer

Professor Zeng Wuyi is a distinguished professor at Xiamen University and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. His main social part-time jobs include: director of 2013-2017 Statistics Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, consultant of the National Statistical Society of China, and member of the Statistics Section of National Social Science Fund. He has undertaken more than 30 scientific research projects, including one national social science fund key project and five key projects. He has published more than 150 papers and more than 30 books. He has been awarded 48 provincial government-level and above for his teaching and research outcomes, including one first prize for outstanding national teaching achievements, one second prize for universities social science outstanding achievements, one second prize for outstanding achievements of the National Social Science Fund, one library outcome of national social science funds, one national level quality course, one national level quality textbook, and two national first prizes for statistical excellence. The "Statistics" course he hosts has been rated as a national level quality course and a national-level resource-sharing course. He has received special allowance for experts from the State Council and was selected in the lists of the 3rd China Outstanding Humanities and Social Scientists and the 4th Outstanding People's Teacher of Fujian Province.
